This Refund & Cancellation Policy governs all payments made to Target News for advertising services, classified advertisements, sponsored content, premium listings, subscription plans, promotional campaigns, and other paid services offered through our website.
By making a payment, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to this policy.
1. Scope of Services
Target News offers various paid digital publishing services, including but not limited to:
- Commercial Display Advertisements
- Classified Advertisements
- Sponsored Articles
- Business Listings
- Banner Advertisements
- Promotional Campaigns
- Premium Memberships
- Digital Subscriptions
- Featured Listings
- Other paid media and publishing services
Each service is subject to editorial review and acceptance before publication.
2. Order Confirmation
A booking or subscription is considered confirmed only after:
- Successful payment is received;
- A payment acknowledgement or invoice is generated; and
- The advertisement, listing, or subscription is accepted for processing.
Target News reserves the right to reject any advertisement or content that violates our editorial guidelines, applicable laws, or advertising policies.
3. Cancellation Policy
Before Publication
Cancellation requests submitted before the advertisement, classified listing, sponsored content, or subscription has been activated or published may be considered.
If approved, the refund may be processed after deducting applicable payment gateway charges, transaction fees, taxes, or administrative costs.
After Publication
Once any of the following has occurred, cancellation will not be permitted:
- Advertisement has been published.
- Classified listing is live.
- Sponsored article has been released.
- Premium listing has been activated.
- Promotional campaign has commenced.
- Subscription benefits have been activated.
- Digital content has been delivered.
Since these are digital publishing services that begin immediately after activation, they are treated as completed services.
4. Refund Policy
Eligible Refund Cases
Refunds may be approved under the following circumstances:
- Payment was successfully deducted but no order or booking was created due to a technical failure.
- Duplicate payment was made for the same advertisement or subscription.
- The advertisement was rejected solely by Target News before publication and no alternative publication is agreed upon.
- A technical issue on our platform prevented activation of the purchased service.
- Cancellation is approved before publication or activation.
Non-Refundable Cases
Refunds will generally not be provided for:
- Change of mind after payment.
- Advertisement or classified has already been published.
- Sponsored content has been published.
- Subscription has already started.
- User provided incorrect advertisement content, images, URLs, contact information, or business details.
- Delays caused by incomplete information from the advertiser.
- Minor design or formatting variations that do not affect publication.
- Advertisement removed due to violation of our Terms of Service.
- Low business response or marketing performance.
- Search engine ranking or traffic expectations.
- Social media engagement expectations.
- Events beyond our reasonable control.
5. Editorial Right to Reject
Target News reserves the right to reject, suspend, edit, or remove any advertisement or paid content that:
- Violates Indian law.
- Contains misleading or false information.
- Promotes illegal products or services.
- Contains hate speech or offensive material.
- Infringes intellectual property rights.
- Violates our advertising or editorial policies.
If rejected before publication, eligible refunds will be processed in accordance with this policy.
6. Subscription Services
For digital subscriptions, premium memberships, or recurring plans:
- Subscription fees are generally non-refundable once the subscription period has begun.
- Users may cancel automatic renewal at any time before the next billing cycle.
- Cancellation prevents future charges only and does not entitle the subscriber to a refund for the current billing period.
7. Advertisement Corrections
If an advertisement is published with an error caused solely by Target News, we may, at our discretion:
- Correct the advertisement;
- Republish the corrected version; or
- Provide an appropriate service credit where applicable.
Errors resulting from incorrect information submitted by the advertiser are not eligible for refunds.
8. Refund Processing
Approved refunds will normally be processed within 7 to 10 business days to the original payment method.
Actual credit timelines depend on the payment gateway, banking institution, card issuer, UPI provider, or other payment service providers.
9. Force Majeure
Target News shall not be liable for delays, interruptions, or inability to publish advertisements due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including:
- Internet failures
- Government restrictions
- Natural disasters
- Cybersecurity incidents
- Hosting failures
- Payment gateway outages
- Technical infrastructure failures
10. Limitation of Liability
The maximum liability of Target News in connection with any paid service shall not exceed the amount actually paid for that specific advertisement, listing, subscription, or promotional service.
Target News shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, reputational, or business losses arising from the use of our services.

By purchasing advertising services, classified listings, subscriptions, sponsored content, or any other paid service from Target News, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to this Refund & Cancellation Policy.
